Function
You will be part of the Contract Management Team within the Commercial Management Services Organisation that works closely with Accenture's industry groups to obtain good commercial arrangements, review and counsel new offerings, support Accenture's alliances and Business Process Outsourcing businesses, develop best practices and ensure contract agreements are upheld.
As Contract Management Professional you will provide support to the Contract Management Team or directly to the Client Engagement Team to enable the administration of government, international and commercial contracts and subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and customer requirements. You are responsible for tracking and monitoring contract changes, deliverables, correspondence and risks, and maintaining associated documentation.
You will provide on-site advice to one of Accenture's outsourcing businesses on contract management and policy compliance matters. Furthermore you will participate in a range of contract management projects across the Accenture organisation.
As Contract Management Professional you will be part of Accenture's Services workforce. Services is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom Accenture manages and provides increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services and HR.
You will report directly to the Belux Contract Management Lead.
As Contract Management Professional you will have, amongst others, the following challenging tasks:
·responding to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions;
·identifying risks and issues, suggesting alternatives that lead to the best solution;
·reviewing and managing contractual obligations of the parties and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met;
·preparing and disseminating information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
·acting as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal & Commercial, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly;
·responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance;
·provide negotiation support as required;
·development and integration of contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement.
Your responsibilities will depend on the level of the role.
You will maintain a positive business relationship with the client's contract management team by regularly communicating and coordinating with them. Proactively, you will engage with the client to resolve issues and disputes, proposing approaches and solutions.
You will establish and maintain the engagement's contractual compliance processes and procedures, identifying non-compliance issues and supporting their resolution. You will work closely with the Legal department to ensure that all legal documents are correctly maintained and updated.
Working closely with the Finance department, you will understand the key commercial drivers of the engagement and assist and advise on areas that can lead to improved cash flow and reduce working capital.
Depending on your experiences, you may act as the main point of contact for negotiating sub-contracts and additional contractual arrangements with the client.
In addition to your client responsibilities, you will also contribute to the wider Contract Management group by interfacing with other Commercial and Contract professionals to share knowledge and develop skills within the group. You will regularly report to the Contract Management Leadership, ensuring that they are aware of any issues or risks.
