Senior Commodity buyers

Delivering a profound knowledge of the procurement function with a support in assessing, organizing, improving, implementing and managing the procurement process.

Our goal is to help out clients drive their procurement results by developing and implementing the commodity strategy. Purchasing, boarding out and selecting suppliers are of a crucial importance for the company's result. Within controlling the procurement chain, some of the core terms are: risk control, cost reduction, quality improvement and optimizing the purchase processes

Job Description

Responsible for the purchase of core resources needed by the organization.

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Reduce complex procurement processes into clear, simple procedures.

· Build, manage and improve relations with suppliers.

· Obtain required targets and initiate processes for improvement.

· Recognize trends within a specific market.

· In depth knowledge of market situation

· Create new purchase channels and opportunities.

Knowledge and Skills

· Analytical, communicative;

· Sense for proportions;

· Numerical and juridical insight;

· Commercial and ambitious;

· Negotiator and moderator with an eye for relations as well as for result.

Qualifications

· At least 4 years of relevant work experience within purchasing;

· Additional juridical education;

· Being able to formulate advice;

· Communicative, persuasiveness and drive;

· Proactive and hands-on;

· Tactical and strategic;

· Commercial, analytical and creative;

· Being able to maintain and further intensify contacts with suppliers at an executive level;

· Experience with complex contracts.
