Accounts Payable Supervisor with French Job

·Completes varied complex/non-standard tasks in area of responsibility.

·Makes variety of decisions, some complex in nature, predominately affecting own area of responsibility

·Required to identify, assess and resolve complex issues/problems within own area of responsibility

·Operates largely independently within set guidelines

·End results are generally defined but interpretative judgment is required to meet these

·Sufficient work experience/job knowledge to enable the analysis of principles and concepts.

·Defines standards and reusable approaches within own area of responsibility

·Required to stay up to date with information in the Knowledge databases and within the industry

·Provides guidance to and shares knowledge with colleagues/team members relating to own AP specialization

·May be required to operate as an AP specialist trouble- shooter within own group or project

·Encourages and implements continuous improvement measures on day-to-day basis within area of responsibility

·Required to maintain effective internal/external client/user relationships within own area of responsibility.

·Supervise a team of 3 - 8 persons

·Bachelors degree

·2 years accounting experience or experience with accounting systems

·Deep Accounts Payable experience

·Fluent English is essential

·Advanced Excel and Word skills are essential

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Knowledge of French language(s) on 4 level is essential

·Good team player with strong interpersonal skills

·Ability to coach & motivate team members

·Responsibility and accuracy

·Ability to problem solve and work under pressure to meet deadlines and resolve issues

·Flexibility, especially in the period of month/year-end closing

·Required to share knowledge and experience with others and assist less experienced staff

·Responsible for training of inexperienced team members

·Provides "expert" support on procedures/work methods for all staff in AP area

·Thorough working knowledge of one functional accounting area through significant job experience and training

·Self starter - ability to work on own with minimal supervision
