DESCRIPTION:
Accenture Infrastructure Outsourcing is responsible for all Technology Infrastructure services delivered to Accenture and its external client;
The service delivery manager is responsible for delivering the entire lifecycle of Technology Infrastructure services to the Accenture IT outsourcing Business. The services provided by the Accenture IO Delivery Centre include Design, Architecture, Project Management, Transition, Deployment, Implementation, Operations and Sustenance of IT Infrastructure spread across various locations and countries.
The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible to manage and deliver the Global Projects for the Unit.
Job Description
The initiatives under IO Delivery centre cover the full spectrum of infrastructure technology work. Examples of current initiatives in progress include the following:
Client IT service delivery and daily operation service management and some specific IT design and build project
Network Projects (e.g., WAN redesign and deployments in China and Eastern Europe)
Workstation Projects (e.g., evaluation and deployment of Thin Clients)
Data Projects (e.g., evaluation and deployment of SAN/NAS solutions)
Voice Projects (e.g., driving the voice strategy for Accenture's offshore work and implementation of the latest VoIP solutions)
Infrastructure Refresh (e.g., continuing a program of ongoing technology refresh and standardization on a global basis)
Responsibilities
Day to Day IT service management over China region
Developing business case, for new initiates.
Creating project initiation documents and plans.
Executing and controlling the projects, as per defined scope, schedule and budget.
Project closure, as per the defined processes.
Working along with other Accenture teams project delivery.
Manage the development and implementation of global policies, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of IT operations.
Lead, mentor and manage the project delivery unit team, to achieve performance excellence.
Required Educational Qualifications
Post Graduate / Graduate with Computer science or Engineering Degree and equivalent work experience required.
Preferred Certifications
ITIL Foundation
MCSE
PMP (Preferred)
CCNA and CCNP Preferred
UNIX or DBA certification preferred
PMP (Preferred)
Years of Experience
Should have 7+ years of strong experience in IT Infrastructure Management / IT Service Delivery.
The candidate should have minimum of 2+ years of extensive project management experience, and should be proficient in the usage of various Project Management tools like MS projects for tracking projects.

He/she should have excellent communication skills and the ability to keep multiple stakeholders informed of the project delivery.
He/she should be able to understand and adapt, the regional/country specific work cultures, for project delivery.
He/she should be able to build effective working relationships with various other teams within Accenture
He/she should be able to understand complex activities and relationships quickly, and assess business and delivery risk effectively, and communicate it effectively.
He/she should be able to articulate and communicate the related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
He/she should have experience with auditing, risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation.
Product/Service Specific Knowledge
Excellent project management skills.
Experience of working with virtual project team members.Good knowledge about the various IT infrastructure components and processes.
Effective risk assessment skills.
Good commercial acumen for managing budgets.
Good vendor management skills.
Process Specific Knowledge
Knowledge of BS7799 / ISO27001 / ISO20000 / ITIL Framework / COBIT etc) preferred.
Tools Specific Knowledge
MS Project, MS Visio, MS Office,
Good to know Call logging tools like Remedy, HP Openview, MRTG, or experience with any network management tools,
Soft Skills
