Country Controllership Analyst Job

Job Description


Responsible for timely and accurately processing transactions. To assist in general administrative support, to ensure timeliness, quality, accuracy and integrity of financial information. To maintain US and PRC GAAP compliances.

Accounts Payable

·Review vendor information to ensure all information required is present.

·Document management of vouchers such as invoices and official receipts.

·Review of supporting documents to ensure official and legal compliance.

·Ensure charge code and internal approval appropriate and valid.

Management Accounting

·Download ledger extraction for Balance Sheet Accounts analysis on monthly basis.

·Prepare Management to Statutory reconciliation for Balance Sheet Accounts on monthly basis.

·Identify incorrectly posted entries and follow-up to ensure reversal/reallocation.

·Produce period end accrual management journals.

·Maintain Employee Receivable balance.

·Assist Controller with reconciliation, providing explanation of outstanding entries and action taken to clear them.

·Produce pre-close review for B/S accounts.

Statutory Accounting

·To understand the chart of accounts for statutory and management and their inter relationship.

·Analyze and reconcile statutory accounts, resolve issues and report to management on monthly basis.

·Review and clear suspense.

·Produce statutory income reconciliation on monthly basis.

·Collate supporting information to assist in preparation of the firm's tax return.

·Produce Tax Balance Sheet reconciliation as required.

·Assist to liaise as appropriate with the firm's external auditors.

Tax Matters

·Collate supporting information to assist the preparation of the entity's tax returns.

·Prepare tax returns and ensure there are filed in a timely manner.

·Calculate necessary entity tax provisions.

·Ensure all entity taxes are paid within the appropriate statutory timeframe.

Client Accounting Related

·Liaise with BPO Finance and ensure systems/process/procedures with best practice.

·Issuing Billing/Client Invoice upon billing schedule or per request.

·Maintain billing control listing to support engagement team/related personnel.

·Assist in areas of job and project reconciliation and client receivables.

·Provide assistance in all areas of financial reporting and management information.

·Act on global/regional/local requests as per required.

Treasury and Cash Flow Forecast

·Prepare bi-weekly cash flow forecast for cash management

·Assist to prepare the six-month cash flow forecast for entity operation

Other

·Prepare/answer various ad hoc reports/queries and analysis as required.

·Working with counterparts, develop skills and undertaking training with the view of career development and/or increasing value to the firm.

·Tertiary qualifications, at least 3 years relevant finance experience

·US and PRC GAAP, Advanced PC skills, Organisational skills

·Reasonable oral and written communication skills

·Interpersonal & Inter-cultural exposure
