Job Description

:

Accenture's Supply Chain Planning group works with clients to develop and implement strategies that improve cost efficiency, increase business effectiveness, and create synergies and collaboration across companies. To help our clients achieve these improvements, we focus on optimizing our client's supply chain by providing an operational decision generating solution, with technology as a key enabler. Our experts are proficient in the leading supply chain planning technology solutions, including those from SAP, Oracle, JDA, and i2 Technologies.

Key

Responsibilities:

·Understand client's business needs and lead the efforts in providing a business solution through technology enablement

·Provide functional expertise as well as industry best practices

·Understand overall SAP Supply Chain solution footprint to drive the implementation of one or more APO component through all phases of the project and lead the team through a structured project delivery methodology

·Drive the integration between the APO components (DP, SNC, SNP, GATP, PP/DS and TP/VS) as well as integration with BI and SAP R/3

Basic Qualifications (must-have's):

·Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience (including configuration) implementing one or more of the following APO components:

· Demand Planning (DP)

· Supply Network Collaboration (SNC)

· Supply Network Planning (SNP)

· Global Available-to-Promise (GATP)

· Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)

· Transportation Planning and Vehicle Scheduling (TP/VS)

·Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or an engineering degree with specialized course work in mathematics, statistics, operations research/management, computer science/engineering or information systems/technology.

·Ability to travel up to 100%

Preferred Skills (component-specific):

· Demand Planning (DP)

·2 years experience in Statistical Forecast algorithms and application knowledge of APO-DP Statistical Forecasting capabilities

·1 years experience with APO-DP data model and BI Admin Workbench (InfoCubes, InfoPackages, Planning Area loads, etc.)

·1 years of experience with SAP-BW/BI reporting capabilities

· Supply Network Collaboration (SNC)

o Knowledge to clearly articulate SAP SNC processes and functionality

o Knowledge and implementation experience in SAP SNC collaboration capabilities including forecasting, promotion planning, purchase orders, replenishment, inventory, work orders, and invoices

o Solid understanding of SAP SNC master and transactional data for customers and suppliers

· Supply Network Planning (SNP)

·Knowledge to clearly articulate SNP processes and functionality

·Knowledge and implementation experience in APO Supply Network Planning heuristics, Optimizer, and Capable-to-Match (CTM)

·Demonstrated experience in providing specifications for custom heuristics, Optimizer, and CTM functionality

·Knowledge and implementation experience in SNP Deployment, TLB and Advanced Safety Stock Planning

·Demonstrated experience with alert monitor, dynamic and database alerts, supply chain cockpit and monitoring tools

·Experienced in creating functional specifications for SNP reports from BW

· Global Available-to-Promise (GATP)

o 3 years of experience in SAP R/3 Sales and Distribution module (SD)

o Knowledge to clearly articulate APO-GATP processes and functionality including basic methods, rules-based ATP, Capable-to-Promise (CTP), and multilevel ATP.

o Must have deep skills in Order Management, Available to Promise and Back Order Promise processes in the Sales and Distribution domain

· Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)

·Knowledge to clearly articulate APO-PPDS processes and functionality

·Knowledge and implementation experience in APO-PPDS heuristic algorithms in the areas of Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling, Repetitive Manufacturing, and Model Mix Planning

·Demonstrated experience in defining custom heuristics functionality

·Knowledge and implementation experience in APO-PPDS Optimization

·Demonstrated experience with detailed scheduling planning board, product planning table, order view, and other interactive tools

· Transportation Planning and Vehicle Scheduling (TP/VS)

o Knowledge to clearly articulate the processes supported by APO-TPVS including delivery, outbound delivery, stock transfer, cross-docking, returns, and dynamic route determination

o Thorough knowledge and implementation experience in APO-TPVS capabilities including interactive planning, Optimization, Transportation Service Provider Selection, and collaborative transportation planning

o Solid understanding of APO-TPVS master data including transportation lanes, schedules, cost profiles, and transportation zones

Additional

Preferred Skills:

·Solid understanding of master data and transactional data mapping between SAP APO and SAP R/3 using the Core Interface (CIF) along with a baseline understanding of MM/PP/SD modules in SAP R/3

·2 years experience implementing one or more of the following Supply Chain planning technology solutions:

o Oracle Demantra, Oracle ASCP

o JDA (Manugistics)

o i2 Supply Chain Planner

·2 years experience in business process analysis with Supply Chain focus

·Consulting experience with a major firm
