Job Description

These Consultant level positions are within our Integration and Process Architecture (IPA) group. As professionals within our global IPA group, Consultants work with our senior architects to design and implement information systems for our clients, using the latest SOA technologies and practices. Specific Consultant responsibilities vary by project.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

·Driving, supervising and reviewing technology diagnosis and assessment activities

·Identifying opportunities for technology-related improvement based on benchmark data and doing high-level cost benefit analysis

·Developing a high level design which supports a robust technology solution, taking into account the user requirements, technical requirements, etc.

·Driving technology architecture and infrastructure design activities

·Reviewing and supervising design components

·Developing design and transition approaches

·Driving and supervising technology build, test and deployment activities

·Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting application development

·100% US travel (Monday-Friday) required

Basic

Qualifications:

·Minimum of Bachelor's Degree

·Minimum of 3 years experience with software architecture and SOA services implementation

·Minimum of 1 year experience implementing Pegasystems PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander)

·Minimum of 6 months of experience in one or more of the following:

·Integration solutions using an EAI platform (examples: TIBCO, webMethods, IBM WBI, Oracle Integration Solutions (Fusion or BEA))

·Business Process Management solutions, including process modeling

·Service definition, design or implementation using WSDL and/or SOAP

·Implementing Business Process Orchestration using BPEL or an equivalent proprietary solution

Preferred Skills:

·Full development lifecycle experience: requirements, design, build, test, deploy

·Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience

·Broad architectural experience, across OS (Windows, UNIX), Database (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server), application server (J2EE) and other technologies (MQSeries, JMS, Struts, Junit, etc.)

·Experience designing and developing process based solutions

·Hands-on XML experience

·Technical/Team Leadership Experience

·Personnel Development Experience (hiring, resource planning, performance feedback, etc.)
