The CIO organization is responsible for maintaining Accenture's information technology (IT) infrastructure and implementing our internal IT strategy. We provide a range of IT services across Accenture, including design and development of IT products and services, help desk support, network management and maintenance, workstation support, and telecommunications. The CIO Organization employs the IT best practices that Accenture advocates to its clients, and takes great pride in being an award-winning high performance IT organization.
Job Description

The candidate selected for this position will be assigned to projects that focus on various aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC.) The goal for all team members is to make an impact on the assignment and to fulfill desired outcomes.
As an analyst in CIO, specific responsibilities may include:
Assisting in analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities about business processes, people, technology, etc.
Assisting in development and testing of new business processes, capabilities, and, as appropriate, their supporting technologies
Developing deployment deliverables (communications, training, etc.)
Performing application design activities (e.g., writing functional designs), portions of technology architecture and infrastructure design activities and portions of technology build, test and deployment
Basic Qualifications
B.S. in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or closely related fields
Minimum GPA - 2.8
Graduation date - graduation date no later than December 2009
Preferred Skills
Programming knowledge or experience
Software Development Life Cycle knowledge
Productivity Tool proficiency (Microsoft Office suite, MS project, MS Access knowledge)
Professional Skills
Solid written and oral communication skills
Willingness to work with individuals from different cultures/backgrounds in a team oriented environment
Organized and detail oriented, thorough in documentation

All positions are located in Chicago
No travel is required for this position
Other responsibilities may include off hour conference calls due to cross center work in centers across the globe.
