To join the UKI Contract Management team and to be assigned to a client engagement based in Newcastle. At that time the role requires the Specialist to carry out the following duties depending on the nature of the engagement:

To perform the support Contract Manager role on a high-profile outsourcing contract, working closely with the project leadership team, Finance, PMO and Legal.

Responsibilities:


Supports the lead Contract Manager in reviewing and managing the contractual obligations of Accenture and other contractual counterparties in order to ensure that all obligations are met

Implements contract management processes on the project and ensures that the project is compliant with Accenture policy

Drafts Contract Change Notes (CCNs) and reviews statements of work from a contractual perspective

Supports the lead Contract Manager in communications between the project team and Legal, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly

Ensures that work receives appropriate legal review and approval

Supports the lead Contact Manager in responding to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions

Identifies contractual risks and issues and proposes solutions

Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance and modifications

Acts as liaison between Accenture and clients/vendors. Will be required to work in a client facing environment, with senior management levels

Responsible for educating the project team on contract terms and monitoring compliance

Develops and integrates Contract Management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement
Degree Educated or equivalent experience in a relevant field Skills and Knowledge Requirements Demonstrates successful management of medium complexity deals Possess knowledge of general business practices, UK government and commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and basic accounting and finance principles Collaborative and persuasive; ability to influence colleagues Ability to communicate effectively with client interfaces Previous work experience of global outsourcing would be useful. Ability to multi-task/work flexibly Extensive commercial, contract management experience, or related discipline Understands basic contracting principles of English Law Competent working knowledge of Word, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint is requiredAccenture is an equal opportunities employer.
