In addition, consultants need to apply their skills in project and program management while exhibiting leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of process, technology, and organizational change. Finally, consultants also need to have a working knowledge of the industry and/or the functional areas they serve.
The Consulting workforce is made up of three groups: Business Consulting, Business and Systems Integration Consulting and Technology Consulting. This consulting group structure provides outstanding opportunities to develop highly specialized skills that will help you advance your career.
Business Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. Supply Chain Management professionals help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain.
Key responsibilities may include:
· Assisting in industry, competitive and company analyses (strategic, financial, operational) as well as market research for benchmarking
· Assisting in analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities about business processes, people, and technology
· Assisting in the development of to-be processes
· Assisting in development and testing of new business processes, capabilities, and, as appropriate, supporting technologies
· Developing deployment deliverables (communications, training)
· Assisting in implementation activities related to new solutions
· Above average university degree
· At least 2 years experience in the implementation of SCM concepts and processes as well as SCM specific IT Know How (SAP, i2, Manugistics, PTC or Aspen Tech)
· Knowledge in project work
· Very good knowledge of English
· Mobility

· Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
· Desire to work in an information systems environment
· Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
