As part of Accenture's Tax Operational Excellence service domain, the Transaction Tax Automation service offering focuses on providing world class capabilities in delivering process and technology solutions to companies with global transaction tax responsibilities.

Our transaction tax resources have proven tax technical, process, and technology skills, representing a wide range of service capabilities within the ERP domain. This offering enables the ability to provide high performance ERP solutions in the area of transaction tax process, technology and automation.

Job Description

Our Tax Transaction Automation practice is currently looking for consultants to join our dynamic and growing tax transaction automation practice. We are looking for business & technology oriented professionals tax consultants who will work on tax department issues related to the implementation of ERP systems. Focusing primarily on tax process redesign, you will help clients align the tax function with business objectives. You will provide an integrated approach to process improvement that will help the tax department maximize its strategic value internally and externally

Key responsibilities include:

· Gathering business and user requirements related to transactional taxes

· Performing functional designs to meet business requirements specific to transactional taxes

· Performing process & software gap analysis and develop related resolutions

· Performing transactional tax related configuration in ERP systems

· Configuring tax software applications, including Sabrix, Vertex & Taxware, and prepare related documentation.

· Preparing and executing test scripts and test cases, and ensure all requirements are met

· Troubleshooting and resolving issues

· Working with and training business users

· 80 to 100% weekly travel to client site

Basic

Qualifications:

· 1 year experience in Sabrix or Vertex system implementations.

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or comparable Business degree required.

· 2 years corporate or public accounting/tax experience with experience in federal, state or local filings for income, franchise, sales, use and/or excise taxes.

· 1 years of Systems proficiency, particularly with MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

· Solid understanding of quote to cash & requisition to pay business processes

· Strong project team leader and presentation skills. including knowledge of application implementations and project team leader standards.

· Knowledge of US Federal, State and Local, and FAS109 is a plus.

· Ability to quickly learn new software tools.

· Advance degree, master or MBA
