Deskside Support Specialist Job

We are currently looking for a local Deskside Support Specialist.

As part of a larger support team covering sites in Denmark, you will be positioned at our customer's site in Østbirk. However, you must expect some travelling to our customers' sites in Jutland and Funen. You will be working in a support team of 9 persons providing second level IT Support, both to our customer, and to colleagues working with IT projects for our customer. You will be supported by team members' onsite and other Accenture sites as required.

Your tasks will include:

·Installation, error investigation and configuration of personal and shared IT equipment (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers etc.)

·Purchasing and configuring hardware, e.g. phones, mobile devices, computers.

·Communicating with the customer throughout the life cycle of each support request

·Knowledge sharing with team members and other teams located at other sites.

·Participation in IT product and solution standards (maintaining and deploying)

·Installation and configuration of special equipment related to the production, e.g. labelprinters and scanners,

·Participation in projects

·User administration

·User advisory service

Your preferred qualifications include:

·A technical education within IT, combined with at least 3 years of working experience with IT support in an office environment.

·Hands on experience with software: Windows Active Directory, HP Service Center or equivalent support tools, Lotus Notes/Domino, MS Products (e.g. MS-Office, MS-Projects), MS-Windows XP and MS-Windows Server 2003,

·Experience with ITIL (IT Service Management) and/or other IT Service Frameworks.

·Experience with hardware: printers, Mobile devices and server hardware.

·Ability to work analytically when solving problems, using a structured approach.

·Good written and spoken English, which is our corporate language. Excellent Danish skills written as well as spoken are also required.

·Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate with users at all levels.

·Ability to work in a sometimes hectic environment.
