Job Description
:

Accenture Automation & Industrial Solutions - consultants work with Accenture and client resources to conceptualize, design and implement business improvement and automation/MES applications in the Energy, Chemicals, Natural Resources and Utilities industry.

Examples of the types of services that Accenture provides to our clients in this are include:

· Automation and Industrial IT strategy

· Automation and operation systems master plan

· Automation Technology, Process Management and Process Optimization

· Program Management Office of Automation and Industrial IT projects

· Technical assistance

· Automation systems selection, design and implementation, e.g.

o Manufacturing Execution Systems/ Manufacturing Operation Management Systems - MES/MOM

o Production Information Management Systems - PIMS

o Lab Information Management Systems - LIMS

·

Integration of Plant and Enterprise Systems (MES to ERP integration)

Key responsibilities of this role may include:

· Safety ad sustainability improvements

· Efficiency, quality and cost optimization

· Identifying and addressing automation driven business improvement opportunities

· Process and functional design activities

· Creating and testing functional requirements as an input to automation/MES application design

· Supervising automation / MES application build, test, and deploy activities

We are looking for a number of people across Asia Pacific to fill Plant & Asset Management roles at various levels depending on level of experience, i.e.:

· Manager/Senior Manager : 6-10 years of experience

· Consultant : 3-5 years of experience

Qualifications:


· As a minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronic, automation and control, mechatronics)

Preferred Skills:


· Experience in Project Management in Industrial Automation, e.g., estimating, work planning, project reporting and tracking, issue management (PMI Certification is desirable)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong leadership and team-building skills

· Experience in continuous manufacturing an advantage

· Experience in project value justification, preferably business case

· Knowledge in SCADA, PLC, DCS, PIMS, MES, Loop tuning, Process Modeling, Control and Optimization.

· Automation Software selection, design and implementation, e.g. MES, PIMS, LIMS, etc.

· OPC and SOA integration integration

· Ability to travel on a frequent basi

Relevant experience in the following areas:

· Implementation/Management of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Advanced Process Control and/or MES solutions

· Loop Tuning and Variability Reduction

· Asset Management and optimization

· Intelligent Operations Center

· Alarm Management

· Intelligent process monitoring & troubleshooting

This experience must have been gained by working for i) an operating company in the Energy, Chemicals, Natural Resources or Utilities industry, ii) an automation/MES vendor or iii) an industry consultant.
