Job Description

Systems Integration Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that marry processes with technology to help our clients achieve high performance.

Industry Applications professionals design, implement and deploy packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate unique industry business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs.

Communications & High Tech Accenture Communications Solutions professionals design, configure, architect, integrate, test, convert and deploy the Accenture Communications solution for wireline, wireless and broadband (IP/3G) applications. Accenture Communications Solutions is an integrated suite of Accenture's leading-edge business solutions for communications service providers. These innovative and practical solutions address communications industry challenges and business opportunities with ready-to-use components pre-packaged within a robust, common integration framework and aligned with industry standards. Accenture Communications Solutions is continuously enhanced based on Accenture's experiences helping communications clients achieve high performance.

Key responsibilities may include:

· End to end architecting of complex BSS/OSS solutions, helping to shape and sell the deal.

Depending on the type of the deal, could be involved in some or all of the below:

· Providing estimating, forecasting and workplanning assistance

· Planning and managing Application Assessment and Requirements activities

· Assisting clients in defining key capabilities/requirements that will enable their strategy

· Defining application entrance and exit criteria

· Being recognized as an expert on one or more application vendors/products

· Creating project deliverable templates and standards (e.g., including process standards)

· Creating complex conceptual designs, including application interfaces and interactions

· Planning and managing program-wide application build, test, and deploy activities

· Identifying and monitoring interdependencies between various application implementation activities

· Planning and establishing after go-live activities including ongoing support

· Participating in recruiting activities in your geography

· Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable

· Ability to architect end to end BSS/OSS technology solutions at large telcos around the region

· Understand the options that exist, predominately in BSS but at a higher level in OSS supporting oracle stack including Siebel and using kenan owned by convergys. What it takes to implement an end to end BSS/OSS solution, leverage onshore and offshore, architect technically and commercially.

· Able to work at relatively senior levels in client and our organization to get people across the line and what the business implications may be of epanding the products or offering set billing engine, implement faster and cheaper. Need to have worked in Telcos consulting for some considerable time. Telcos billing experience.

· Strong commercial acumen - resource management, risk mitigation

· Involved more on the cost side of the commercial architecture of the deal: onshore/offshore model; pyramid. How, what, when you implement. On the pricing side of things ie delayed billing, fees at risk. Not a deal making expert, looking for a solution architect.

· Extensive travel required

· HP, IBM, Wipro, Convergys, EDS, Comverse, Amdocs, Indian Pureplay operating onshore for a period of time, Alcatel Lucent.

· People need to know the local market

· Lead with BSS and then pick up OSS not visa versa

· Looking for very experienced delivery experience and sales capability

· Once the deal is sold, this resource will be accountable partially or fully in the delivery of that work
