In addition, consultants need to apply their skills in project and program management while exhibiting leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of process, technology, and organizational change. Finally, consultants also need to have a working knowledge of the industry and/or the functional areas they serve.

Marketing Transformation Consultant/Manager

Function description
The individual will be able to help clients designing and implementing solutions for one or several of the above mentioned areas. She/he will typically demonstrate a good understanding of both business and technology solution architecture for a given area. At consultant level, the individual is typically focused on one or several of the mentioned areas and is part usually part of a larger design and/or delivery team with a clearly defined area of responsibility. With growing seniority and at manager level, the end-to-end project management responsibilities to coordinate the design and/or delivery of integrated Marketing solutions, potentially across multiple team and Accenture workforces will be required.

Principal tasks
Depending of the area(s) of focus – Customer Analytics, Campaign Management and/or Marketing Resource Management – the individual will perform the following tasks:
· Develop a solid understanding of the issue at stake and related business architecture (processes, functional requirements, organization…)
· Develop a good understanding of the existing technology in place (existing applications, technical constraints…)
· Contribute/coordinate the design of (parts of) the proposed Marketing solution in terms of business architecture (processes, organization…) and/or technology implementation (configuration…)
· Demonstrate strong Marketing skills in one or several of the above mentioned areas and build immediate credibility with clients based on personal know-how & experiences
· Communicate effectively with clients in a clearly structured/synthetic way and manage their expectations to stick to deadlines at (sub-)project level
· Keep up with/contribute to Marketing Transformation innovations and thought leadership

Additional tasks for the Manager level include:
· Lead/coordinate large project teams, potentially with mixed workforces (business consulting and technology profiles), and act as privileged interface with the client project manager/sponsor
· Assume overall responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of the strategy project
· Define a result-oriented and well-structured approach that leverages Accenture's Marketing Transformation offerings, knowledge, methodology assets and expert network optimally
· Pro-actively identify/shape components of the future business architecture thereby driving the business development process

Skills/Qualification

Both business and technology aspects, in one or several of the following areas:

· Customer Analytics: data mining/modeling, customer data record creation with usage and/of configuration experience in technology solutions such as for example SAS, SPPS, KXEN or Siebel Analytics;

· Campaign management: campaign definition/selection, response analysis and reporting with usage and/of configuration experience in technology solutions such as Unica, Chordiant, ePiphany or SAS;

· Marketing Resource Management: design/delivery of MRM solutions with usage and/of configuration experience in technology solutions such as for example Aprimo, etc.
