Accenture's Consulting workforce is involved in business consulting, process design work and the application of technologies to business. Working as a consultant with Accenture, you will build core business, technology and industry expertise helping to deliver world-class business and technology solutions that enable clients to become high performance businesses. Consultants must be professionals who have an interest in how business processes work and interact. In addition, consultants need to apply their skills in project and program management while exhibiting leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of process, technology, and organizational change. Finally, consultants also need to have a working knowledge of the industry and/or the functional areas they serve.

The Consulting workforce is made up of three groups:Management Consulting , Systems Integration Consulting and Technology Consulting. This consulting group structure provides outstanding opportunities to develop highly specialized skills that will help you advance your career.

Job Description


Management Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. Talent & Organization Performance professionals carve out distinctive competitive positioning in the marketplace around talent management, the human resources (HR) function, organization effectiveness and change management. The goal is to help organizations to expand their talent management agenda from a narrow and tactical focus on human resources (HR) activities around the employee life cycle, to a broad and strategic focus on highly integrated systems of capabilities fundamental to business strategies and operations.

Key responsibilities may include:

· Planning and managing business diagnosis and planning activities

· Guiding team through problem definition, issue identification and workplan development using problem solving principles and past experience

· Performing/interpreting value analysis to identify value creation opportunities for clients

· Planning and managing effort to define to-be organization processes, capabilities, application of key technologies, and performance measurements/KPIs

· Planning and managing business architecture implementation activities

· Designing and conducting business solution testing and deployment plans

· Monitoring achievement of strategic, financial and operational benefits, ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved and helping to adjust programs if necessary

· Helping define the structural and cultural changes required to reach the goal; sequencing those changes

· Deep skills in Human Performance offerings, including: Foundational Learning, Knowledge Management, Talent Management, Change Management, Requirements/Needs Analysis, and Change Readiness Assessment

· Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable

· 7 years of HR consulting related experiences

· MBA degree is definitely a plus

· Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

· Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

· Desire to work in an information systems environment

· Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

· Excellent leadership and management skills
