In addition, consultants need to apply their skills in project and program management while exhibiting leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of process, technology, and organizational change. Finally, consultants also need to have a working knowledge of the industry and/or the functional areas they serve.

The Consulting workforce is made up of three groups: Management Consulting, Systems Integration Consulting and Technology Consulting. This consulting group structure provides outstanding opportunities to develop highly specialized skills that will help you advance your career.

Job Description


Business Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation. Supply Chain Management professionals help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain. Sourcing & Procurement professionals design and implement strategies that transform buying and selling with differentiating sourcing and procurement strategies, processes, technologies and organizations.

Key responsibilities may include:

Define problem, identify issues and develop hypothesis to build up the foundation of systematic problem-solving

·
Collect and synthesize information, conduct logical analysis to address client's issues and prepare recommendations to client

·
Schedule activities based on how they impact project implementation and create logical plan (e.g., workplan, storyboard) for project segments and activities

·
Proactively communicate with client to ensure accurate understanding of client's key issues and buy-in of project recommendations

·
Guide junior team members to perform/interpret value analysis identifying value creation opportunities for clients when necessary

·
Proactively anticipate potential risks and develop/recommend/implement risk-mitigation plan ensuring project success

·
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement process and other related supply chain management practices

·
Minimum 4 years of working experiences in sourcing and procurement function of consulting firms

Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable

Bachelor and above degrees from prominent universities

Self-motivated and good leadership skills

Ability and readiness to work under pressure

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent language skills in English, both written and spoken
