The Consulting workforce is made up of three groups: Management Consulting, Systems Integration Consulting and Technology Consulting. This consulting group structure provides outstanding opportunities to develop highly specialized skills that will help you advance your career.
Management Consulting professionals focus on strategy and take responsibility for organizational change and business transformation.
Supply Chain & Operations professionals help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain.
Fulfillment professionals plan and implement innovative solutions in areas such as warehouse management and operations, distribution network design, tagging and tracking, transportation management. This work also includes initiatives to increase customer service through better order management and overall fulfillment strategies.
Key responsibilities may include:
· Develop and manage the Strategic Inventory Optimization work plan
· Act as the key knowledge owner for the Strategic Inventory Optimization effort
· Provide data requirements for analysis
· Lead the execution of the Strategic Inventory Optimization work stream
· Cleanse data to support analytics
· Conduct the data analysis for the Strategic Inventory Optimization work stream
· Develop the deliverables required for the Strategic Inventory Optimization work stream
· Performing/interpreting value analysis to identify value creation opportunities for clients
· Planning and managing effort to define to-be organization processes, capabilities, application of key technologies, and performance measurements/KPIs
· Monitoring achievement of strategic, financial and operational benefits, ensuring planned business outcomes are achieved and helping to adjust programs if necessary
· Helping define the structural and cultural changes required to reach the goal; sequencing those changes
· 3-7 years experience in Fulfillment Processes and Systems
· Bachelors Degree in Information Systems, Transportation & Logistics, Industrial Engineering, and/or Supply Chain Management
· Previous business process redesign and systems implementation experience, preferably in a consulting environment with a large firm
· Business operations knowledge in at least two of the following areas: Order Management, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management and/or Global Trade and Logistics
· Experience in the Retail industry
· Experience with one or more of the following software package: Order Management (SAP, Oracle, Yantra), Warehouse Management (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie), Transportation Management (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, i2, Manugistics), GTM
Professional Skill Requirements
· Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
· Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
· Desire to work in an information systems environment
· Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
· Excellent leadership and management skills
