Job Description


Navitaire offers a comprehensive suite of software that supports airlines' innovative efforts to capitalize on new revenue opportunities, increase operational efficiencies, enhance customer service and optimize profits. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Accenture, Navitaire offers IT & Business Process Solutions in the areas of Revenue Management, Protection and Accounting Services, Reservations and Direct Distribution Services for the airline industry.The Operations Analyst will support a variety of production environments for customers worldwide and will work closely with other teams both locally and globally.

Specific Responsibilities of the role may include to:

You will work as part of a global team and be actively involved in the building, configuring, implementing and supporting of our extensive web-hosting infrastructure
Resolve issues for production environments, recommend / implement changes to the production environment to minimize downtime.
Part of your role will also involve the set up and administration of services as-well as client support.
A strong customer focus is critical. Responsibilities also include maintaining SLAs through proactive monitoring and patching and regular maintenance, and infrastructure software upgrades, Perform on-call roster duties on a rotational basis as required

Skill Requirements:


Experience with managing web based applications in a hosting environment
Analytical and structured problem solving skills and be able to analyse, diagnose and troubleshoot root cause technical problems.
Working knowledge of Linix/Unix operating systems, DNS, Apache, IIS, administration of Windows 2003 and 2000.
Good general knowledge of networking infrastructure.
Strong people and communication skills and be a pro-active self-starter with a high work ethic.
