The Consulting workforce is made up of three groups: Management Consulting, Systems Integration Consulting and Technology Consulting. This consulting group structure provides outstanding opportunities to develop highly specialized skills that will help you advance your career.

Job Description


Technology Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering technology innovation and providing the backbone of our systems integration business.

Data Center professionals develop and deliver strategies and solutions for housing the computer systems and communications equipment -- including servers, databases, storage devices, etc. -- that handle the data necessary for enterprise operations.

Key responsibilities may include:

Shaping and leading holistic programs that translate technology shortfalls into transformation programs

·
Understanding and articulating the value proposition(s) of various technologies

·
Understanding, articulating and driving technology vision into requirements and solutions

·
Envisioning new and innovative technology approaches and predicting probable business outcomes

·
Leading assessments on high performance IT alternatives (e.g., total cost of ownership, technology value realization)

·
Authoring and leading the development of an IT strategy definition for the client, including investment, process and organization

·
Developing and articulating winning technology third-party teaming approaches

·
Shaping and leading large scale technology design activities

·
Maintaining appropriate relationships with and properly utilizing third party alliances and vendors

·
Shaping and leading large scale technology build, test and deployment activities

·
Assessing and managing risk throughout all aspects of the technology implementation

· Experience managing large data centres

· Experience in server consolidation or datacenter consolidation and familiarity with cross technologies needed

· Experience with virtualized environments (VMware, etc.)

·

Experience with back-up, archiving and vaulting (Symantec/Veritas Netbackup and all the associated hardware and networking related to back-up solutions).

· Ability to translate technologies and create business cases

· Flexibility to travel up to 100%
