Test Automation Analyst - Toronto ON Job

Testing professionals utilize Accenture delivery assets to plan and implement testing and quality assurance initiatives to ensure solution quality before deployment.
As an Automation Analyst , you will lead the development and implementation of test automation strategies, planning & estimating of automation development & maintenance work and leading delivery teams. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple clients and various applications including SAP, Oracle and web-based technologies. You will apply your knowledge of test automation tools to help drive adoption of test automation across projects as well as continue to build on existing processes, methods and assets.
Key Tasks :
- Plan the delivery of the test scripts to be automated
- Contribute to identifying the test scripts that could be automated; prioritize based on business needs
- Deliver automated scripts primarily using HP QuickTest Pro or IBM Rational Functional Tester
- Identify and analyze suitable opportunities for test automation
- Work with Functional Analysts and client support group to ensure automation is working as required
- Provide leadership to junior Automation Analysts/Developers
- 2 years of QA project experience
- 3 years of experience in test automation including planning, assessments, script development & maintenance
- Previous experience in designing and building test automation frameworks
- Experience with HP (Mercury) QuickTest Pro and Business Process Testing
- Experience with IBM Rational Functional Tester
- Experience with Worksoft Certify (optional)
- Experience with HP (Mercury) Quality Center
- Experience with additional QA tools such as HP (Mercury) Quality Center, TOAD / SQL, IBM Rational for QA
- 3 years work experience required
