Accenture has a thriving Supply Chain Management practice - both globally and in Norway. For our expanding Supply Chain practice, we are now seeking exceptional consultants in this field. We especially encourage individuals with a strong sourcing and procurement background to apply.
Your work will involve creating world-class operational efficiency throughout the client's supply chain, thus enabling profitable growth in new and existing markets. These engagements typically require an end-to-end understanding of supply chains and experience of developing innovative supply chain strategies and the associated transformation components. Your work will be project-based and tasks involved are often complex, imposing requirements on your knowledge and ability to see both the details and the big picture. In addition to working with our clients, it is also common to work with their suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain
As a Sourcing and Procurement professional you will have special focus on designing and implementing strategies that transform buying and selling with differentiating sourcing and procurement strategies, processes, technologies and organizations.
As an experienced consultant within our Supply Chain Practice, you will also be key in driving and developing Accenture's business.
Key responsibilities may include
·Address both strategic and operational supply chain issues within Sourcing and Procurement
·Driving, supervising and reviewing technology diagnosis and value assessments to identify value creation opportunities for clients
·Guiding team through problem definition, issue identification and workplan development using problem solving principles and past experience
·Helping define the structural and cultural changes required to reach the goal; sequencing those changes
·Work seamlessly with our clients' own resources to ensure that the Supply Chain recommendations and implementations will address their business requirements.
·Build long-term relationships with key clients
·You have a master's degree
·You have at least 4-10 years' hands-on experience working within the Sourcing and Procurement field and transformational related topics, always with a view on business value
·You have worked with one or several of the following areas; Supply Chain Assessment and Strategy, Business Model Development, Business Performance Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Procurement Performance Optimization, Global Strategic Sourcing, Procure to Pay Process Design, Procurement Talent Management, Procurement Strategy and Planning, Procurement Outsourcing Solution Design, Direct Categories, Indirect Categories, MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) Categories
·You have worked as a consultant or have held a management position with one of the larger companies and you have the ability to understand critical success factors for our clients and their industry
·Ability to travel when required

·Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
·An understanding of technology and its application to business
·Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
