Oracle CC&B Solution Architect

The successful candidate will work on a largely independent basis but will report to Accenture's 'Retail Business Solutions' foundation offering group, which is responsible for the standardization, industrialization and internal knowledge sharing of Accenture's global retail utilities practice.

Specifically, the Oracle CC&B Solution Architect will play a critical role in helping to further build, develop and industrialize Accenture's Oracle Retail CIS practice globally. The Solution Architect will be responsible for providing functional and technical support and advice to sales and delivery teams and must be able to travel globally and extensively.

Using his/her detailed knowledge of Oracle CC&B and related products, the Oracle CC&B Solution Architect will be made available on a part time basis to support Oracle CIS engagements at all stages of the project lifecycle - from proposal through to completion. It is likely that there will be several different engagements occurring concurrently at any one point in time, requiring the Solution Architect to split their time between them.

That support will include, but will not be limited to:

- Planning and estimating large scale CC&B projects

- Advising sales and delivery teams on functionality, and be able to offer advice on key project functional and technical decisions, either at the proposal or implementation stages

- Support design and configuration of system and enhancements

- Conducting Quality Assurance reviews

In addition to this project support role, the Oracle CC&B Solution Architect will be expected to play a key role in identifying and developing Oracle CC&B-related assets, to strengthen Accenture's position in the marketplace. This includes:

- Championing the re-use of Oracle delivery methods and tools from project to project

- Playing a key role in the development of communications, marketing and related materials.

- Keeping track of Oracle product features/functions/releases, and Oracle product roadmaps.

Oracle CC&B Solution Architect with a strong background (5 years or more) in the Utilities industry (i.e. extensive experience with CIS (Customer Information Systems). Should have 3-5 years of experience in Oracle CC&B and if possible Lodestar / Siebel experience (latter is optional). Prior experience in leading teams/ leadership role is not required as this role is a technical expert position working largely independently to assist with Oracle CIS Sales and Delivery project teams globally.

Basic

Qualifications:

·5 years extensive experience in the retail utilities industry

·3 years working with the Oracle CC&B product

·3 years Experience in Oracle CC&B estimating; versioning, migration

Preferred Skills:

·Experience with CC&B including the following:

·The emphasis is on a broad (but solid) understanding of the product and its capabilities, as opposed to very in-depth knowledge of one specific functional or technical area. Functional expertise is preferred over technical, though a balance of both is idea

·Experience working with Oracle Application Integration Architecture; SOA and Weblogic App Server

·Experience in developing estimating models

·Experience in Siebel

·Experience in Lodestar

·Experience developing Oracle related delivery assets (i.e. Re-use)

·Familiarity with Oracle CC&B Quality Assurance reviews

·Strong understanding of strengths / weaknesses of Oracle CC&B

·Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team

·Strong professional presence

·Knowledge of a second knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement

·Strong English Speaker

·3 years of experience with 2 clients on Oracle CC&B projects. (Clients ideally gas and electricity providers, but water would be a positive also)

·Open to Global Travel

·Open to travel 50- 75% of the time
