Plant and Asset Management Consultants work with Accenture and client resources to conceptualize, design and implement business improvement and applications in the Energy, Chemicals and Natural Resources industry. The Plant and Asset Management practice provides a wide range of business consulting, systems integration and outsourcing services to our clients.
Examples of the types of services that Accenture provides to our clients in this are include:
·Operations Strategy
·Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma
·Capital Project Management
·Maintenance Management
·Planning & Scheduling (S&OP, Master Scheduling, Finite Scheduling...)
·Manufacturing Execution Systems
·Systems Integration
Key responsibilities of this role may include:
·Identifying and addressing business improvement opportunities, e.g. operational excellence, supply chain optimization, etc.
·Process and functional design activities
·Creating functional requirements as an input to application design
·Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
·Supervising application build, test, and deploy activities
· As a minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, automation & control)
·Program and project management skills (e.g., estimating, work planning, project reporting and tracking, issue management)
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Strong leadership and team-building skills
·Software selection, design and implementation
·Systems integration , e.g. MES to ERP integration
·Ability to travel on a frequent basis
Relevant experience in:
·Planning & Economics,
·Shop Floor Supervision (Production and/or Maintenance,),
·Process Engineering/Technical Services,
·Systems implementation in a manufacturing environment, and/or
·Cost Accounting in Manufacturing Operations
and/or
Relevant experience at a software vendor or industry consultant, in the following areas:
·Selection, design and implementation of planning, scheduling or yield accounting systems,
·Selection, design and implementation of maintenance management systems
·Selection, design and implementation of manufacturing execution systems
