The Consulting workforce is made up of three groups: Management Consulting, Systems Integration Consulting and Technology Consulting. This consulting group structure provides outstanding opportunities to develop highly specialized skills that will help you advance your career.
Systems Integration Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that marry processes with technology to help our clients achieve high performance.
Oracle professionals design, implement and deploy Oracle solutions to achieve defined business goals. They maintain skills in Oracle applications process design and configuration; Oracle application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and Oracle application technical architecture.
Oracle Energy/Utilities professionals design, implement and deploy Oracle energy and utilities solutions to support key business processes.
Key responsibilities may include:
·Shaping and leading programs that translate process application and/or integration shortfalls into transformation programs/projects
·Articulating application and integration strategy and thought leadership for business solutions
·Envisioning new and innovative approaches and predicting probable business outcomes
·Establishing total cost of ownership metrics for actual impacts of application implementation
·Influencing client direction based on application design and architecture
·Defining solution architecture
·Shaping and leading large-scale application design and architecture activities
·Establishing acceptance of designs with client executives
·Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom line
·Shaping and leading large scale application build, test, and deploy activities
·Assessing and managing risk and issues throughout all aspects of the application implementation
·Cultivating client relationships and driving revenue acquisition
·Driving recruiting activities for geography
·Counseling junior team members
·Ability to travel 100% to meet client needs
Basic
·Eight years of experience implementing large CIS solution projects
·Five years of Systems implementation or development experience with Oracle's Customer Care & Billing solution in an Energy or Utilities environment
·Five years of team lead experience managing a team of analysts/consultants in a medium to large consulting organization or company
·Five years of project management experience
·Bachelor's Required
·Experience with customer information-service connection, meter reads, rating, billing, payment processing, collections, field service, and meter management
·
Experience with Oracle CC&B and/or SPL's CorDaptix(TM) solution
·Master's degree desirable but not required
Professional
·Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
·Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
·Desire to work in an information systems environment
·Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
·Excellent leadership and management skills
