Service Delivery professionals are responsible for providing service delivery across the breadth of offerings such as accounting, information technology, application development and maintenance, helpdesk services, procurement, learning and training, and human resources. The work that is performed by our delivery professionals may serve one or more clients concurrently and they may be located directly at a client site or within our global delivery network.
Client Facing & Sourcing capabilities:
· Proactively manage and understand the relationship with the key client representatives within region, representing all aspects of the Global Sourcing (GS) related aspects. Ensure 'demand' on APS Sourcing organization is understood onshore and offshore and APS is consistently delivering upon contractual commitments in the provision of the outsourced services.
· Provide client service management, working with client's Regional Sourcing Officer (RSO), to jointly represent P2P GS service to the Bank's business lines and monitor and assess Business Line utilization and compliance to P2P in terms of Service Level Agreements and other reporting.
· Provide 'expert' knowledge on P2P GS service being delivered. Develop detailed understanding on the APS 'Utility' and sourcing services being provided.
· Review and manage business performance monitoring Key Performance Indicators and SLA's for both onshore and offshore operations (Regional Delivery Centre), to ensure efficient and effective achievement of targets whilst maintaining the appropriate control environment. Actively participate in setting and reviewing performance against targets for continuous improvement initiatives for the P2P cycle.
· Work closely with Delivery Centre supervisor/team lead to review Delivery Centre team performance in the key areas of Global Sourcing (GS)
· Provide stewardship and oversight for the onshore and offshore team for all aspects related to Sourcing.
· Provide leadership and encourage a shared and cohesive working environment between onshore and offshore teams as well as with the client organization. Facilitate collaboration between onshore and offshore teams, support resolution of sourcing issues and guide the team towards longer term strategic direction.
· Establish and maintain close and effective working partnerships with Accenture P2P colleagues working in different Delivery Centers across the globe as well as with other Client-Facing locations in US, UK and Germany to deliver the above-mentioned Procurement services to client.
· Work with Accenture colleagues in Delivery Center locations to build and manage a demand pipeline and capacity model for scheduled and ad hoc demand for the above services. Operate a transparent Work Allocation Process with Client the client to manage supply and demand for the above services.
· Lead a high-performing Sourcing team through developing, motivating and retaining high quality Sourcing professionals. Drive service delivery through individual and team performance.
· Establish and maintain the highest quality and service standards through the adoption and operation of Accenture Operational Excellence process methodologies for all key operational processes.
· Serve and contribute as a member of the client facing onshore team and client's Global Sourcing teams.
Operational Responsibilities
· Demand Management: Operate capacity model for Sourcing team, and undertake regular structured Workload Allocation process with Client and offshore Sourcing Lead to schedule and progress scheduled and ad hoc work requests.
a.Sourcing and Sourcing Support: Ensure high quality delivery of Sourcing and Sourcing Support services delivered in combination of onshore and offshore work as agreed within Work Allocation Process. These services structured around the Accenture "Seven Step" Sourcing methodology as follows:
b.Perform Industry Analysis. Research supply market to identify and understand the potential supply base with supplier cost driver's analysis and trends in the industries concerned. Analyze the different options by ease and benefit and provide full market analysis and differences in all covered demand points within the client. Remain current in relevant industry trends, market conditions, and informed about key market leaders. Advise key client demand owners on supply market trends (key competitor activity, effect of technology in accelerating globalization, collaboration, risks, new service offerings).
c.Define Sourcing Strategies Build Total Cost of Ownership models by categorizing critical cost models and including activity based and supply chain mapping. Develop hypotheses or proposal for a sourcing strategy using market intelligence, benchmarking data and input from the customers and suppliers. Share knowledge and develop category strategies as appropriate with APS Global Category Management Community of Practice.
d.Screen Suppliers, Build Selection Criteria and Perform Supplier Analysis. Identify, rank and weight supplier selection criteria, accounting for regulatory and legal issues in the supply area. Agree consistent supplier selection process acceptable to all the established working community within the category.
e.Conduct RFx auctions and Review Bids. Use agreed standard framework or tender documents for short listed suppliers as appropriate. Tailor if appropriate in association with legal and contract management team. Issue RFx (Request for Information / Proposal / Quotation) documents to short listed suppliers, collect and analyze responses and populate decision matrix to allow supplier selection.
f.Build Negotiation Plans and Execute Undertake supplier agreement process, managing negotiations or auction process as appropriate. Ensure broad and active competitive bidding appropriate to category strategy. Prepare for fact based negotiations, planning least and most desired outcomes, arguments and responses. Lead and or support supplier negotiation process, assessing success against desired outcomes. Challenge and negotiate to provide most competitive price/service offers.
g.Manage Contract Process Arrange and work with clients' legal department to complete client agreements and any regional affiliate contracts or exceptions. Use client specific standard contracts where possible, otherwise include value adding non-standard terms and conditions through liaison with legal to ensure corporate compliance. Develop Service Level Agreements with key suppliers including non-performance remedies. Ensure that agreements are developed and managed with due regard for operational requirements e.g. payment, through the involvement of Procurement Operations colleagues.
· Management Reporting: Ensure the high quality delivery of both regular and ad hoc management reporting for the Sourcing services within P2P.
· Manage internal / external client relationships. Accountable for ongoing management of effective client service relationships, by acting as focal point of contact with senior client representatives for sourcing related topics. Demonstrate thorough understanding of Client expectations and issues, feed back into teams and manage accordingly. Work with client Regional Sourcing Officer to assess and monitor business line satisfaction as well as utilization of end to end P2P Sourcing service. Work with On- and Offshore team leads, cross regional team leads and the client's RSO to allocate resources.
· Review and manage business performance. Accountable for reviewing contribution of team in terms of delivery to deadlines and quality standards. Review and act against service performance.
· Continuous Improvement. Encourage the identification of continuous improvements to the Sourcing process throughout the organization, including the key area of improving the industrialized knowledge of procedures. Actively participate in setting and reviewing of performance against targets for continuous improvement initiatives. Develop the service towards higher maturity.
· Facilitate collaboration between onshore and offshore teams. Support daily interactions of onshore and offshore teams, promoting the integration of business processes across teams, primarily through timely and relevant exchanges of data, knowledge and experience to enhance service delivery. To provide comprehensive service there should be a strong connection between on- and off-shore resources in the Sourcing and Buying and Contract Management areas.
· Maintain and enhance knowledge to improve service quality. Aim to enhance all team expertise by looking for skill development potential. Ensure onshore team and offshore team staff acquires necessary skills and performance attributes, in line with business and personal development needs. Demonstrate, and seek to deepen, awareness of industry issues and drivers.
· Support On- and Offshore Operations. Support in regional and global change requests, e.g. drive evaluation and implementation.
