Accenture is currently seeking candidates to join its Systems Integration and Technology - Core Banking team. Personnel in the SI&T Core Banking area will be responsible to participate in Accenture's pre-sales and the delivery of large-scale core banking solution. The successful candidate will contribute his/her banking industry expertise and experience during the presales process, from a product functions, process and or applications perspective. This person will also be expected to play a leadership role in the delivery of the solution. S/he will shape and deliver core banking solution from a technology perspective, from architecting the solution model to managing the delivery of all technology components of the solution. This role will require the candidate to interact with senior level client executives as well as Accenture's team-members of all levels.

Profiles/Capabilities:

This person upon joining the team is expected to be able to perform in two key areas: · Be part of Accenture proposal team
· Responsible for delivery of large scale programmes

1) Be part of Accenture proposal team · Ability to provide insights into core banking processes, either within specific product area, and or core banking related application/s.
· Ability to craft the overall solution proposition in response to a client's requirement
· Ability to estimate the effort required to deliver the solution
· Good understanding of the Core Banking IT landscape

2) Delivery · Shape the IT and or functional solution
· Planning the releases
· Estimating the efforts required for different component of the solutions
· Report the technology status of the delivery
· Managing budget, resource and timeline

To achieve the above, the person must have the following

Qualifications:

· Experience in the banking industry from either a: · Core banking applications (eg: Product System Managers)
· Core banking vendor delivery resources (eg: Finnacle, iFlex)

· Experience in a project environment · Manage or lead a team in a project
· Expose to project lifecycle

· Minimum of a good University Degree
· Minumum 7 relevant years of experience
