Strategic IT Effectiveness (SITE) Senior Manager Job

Our IT Strategy professionals work with the top management of our client's organizations in identifying and implementing high performance business value creation and transformation opportunities. They are focused on engaging executives on strategic technology topics and makingthe connection to real business priorities.

Strategic IT Effectiveness (SITE) specialists help our clients to achieve greater business value from IT through services in four key service areas:

·Focusing the IT debate on creating business value

·Creating powerful IT value propositions at times of major change

·Optimising the IT investment agenda

·Transforming IT to deliver improved capability and business results

As a SITE practitioner, your work will involve a wide variety of activities depending on your assignment such as:

·Planning, managing and executing high impact strategic IT assessments

·Guiding a team through a structured IT value discovery process

·Leading a team in assessing the capabilities of the IT organisations of major clients

·Working with experts across Accenture's disciplines in running major IT transformational change programmes

·Working with a team in designing and implementing new high performance IT organizations

Due to the nature of the role, it is mandatory that applicants be able to demonstrate:

·The 'must have' skills required to be success with C-suite executives - ability to handle unstructured problems, manage client relationships & communicate ideas powerfully to senior client executives

·Appropriate depth in technology basics (business processes, enterprise business/IT architecture, core infrastructure concepts, SOA, with an ability to 'talk business IT'

·Specialist skills in IT organization transformation, IT Strategy, IT governance, EA planning, application portfolio optimasation, architecture governance

·Appropriate depth in at least one industry

·Leadership skills - in particular to be able to demonstrate the attributes required for effective teaming with strategists and technologists

Candidates should hold a relevant tertiary qualification.
Successful completion of MBA certification is of advantage.
