Job Title: Expenses Administrator
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £15,500 to £17,000 plus exceptional benefits

Accenture is working with Thomas Cook to manage finance and IT for the travel company's business in the UK.
Purpose of Job
To ensure that staff expenses are valid/accurate and are passed to payroll within the agreed time line.
To ensure that credit card and expenses journals are posted and necessary accounting is processed within month end time scales.
To act as liaison between the bank and the client with respect to Corporate and Purchasing Cards.
Main Accountabilities
Responsible for:
Preparing all expense claims with receipts in line with Thomas Cook policy & tax/auditing procedures
Processing of expense claim forms into access database and process payment claims via Payroll.
Process the relevant expenses journals via SAP.
Query handling i.e queries relating to cost centres charged etc.
Liaising with other departments including Thomas Cook HR and Audit where necessary.
To monitor and control the issue of cash advances.
Administer and process applications for Thomas Cook Purchasing & Corporate Cards and post relevant entries via SAP.
Management and reconciliation of Expenses Claims Control account.
Deal with queries, orders and cancellations and other related issues with regard to mobile phones.
Banking - bank cheques in respect of expenses, mobile phone and pass journals.
Assist with:
General administration and ad hoc duties within Payments and Accounting Support.
Skills Required:
Financial accounting experience
Team player
Good interpersonal skills
Experience gained in travel or service industry useful
Attention to detail.
Respect confidentiality
PC literate; Microsoft Excel skills essential, SAP experience useful.
