Objectives:

Operational
Responsibilities:


- Manage and co-ordinate management of inventory and all replenishment flows from Vendor to DC for assigned products

- Help improve service levels from DC to Store

- Participate in collaborative planning with Vendors and Retained Organization, helping ensure forecast and flow requirements are executed to defined targets / standards supporting the category marketing plans and that supply chain analysts execute plans effectively.

- Work with Transportation, Distribution, Operational Planning and Vendors to determine and co-ordinate the flow of goods through the network and help ensure Category Management is aligned to support the established flow plans.

- Lead and undertake process improvement initiatives, with Vendors and cross functional teams members, focused on improving KPI's.

- Attend on-shore operational management meetings where appropriate and provide feedback operational actions to off-shore delivery team.

- Provide status updates to the Business pertaining to supply chain and business unit performance including a forward view of expected results / opportunities.

- Facilitate communication between teams and internal/external customers

- Work with team to help analyze and identify service improvement opportunities

- Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues

People Management Responsibilities:

- Support individual feedback to team members on performance, development and career goals and to conduct annual performance evaluations where appropriate.

- Provide real time mentoring and coaching to procurement specialists in the execution of their daily functions

- Support interviewing of potential candidates for future Supply Chain analyst and Planner positions

Client Customer Responsibilities:

- Serve as point of escalation for offshore team and Retained Organization to resolve open issues

- Liaise with Event Managers and Category Management on Promotion and Seasonal / Module schedules

- 6-10 year's business experience with a focus on supply chain processes (replenishment), especially in the Retail or Consumer Packaged Goods space, and supervisory experience
