Job Description


Our Systems Integration Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that marry processes with technology to help our clients achieve high performance.

Our SAP professionals design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. They maintain skills in SAP applications process design and configuration; SAP application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and SAP application technical architecture. In joining our consulting group as an SAP SD professional you will help design, implement and deploy SAP SD solutions to this specialized industry sector to help our clients achieve high performance.

In this role, your key responsibilities may include:

* Providing estimating, forecasting and work planning assistance
* Planning and managing Application Assessment and Requirements activities
* Assisting clients in defining key capabilities/requirements that will enable their strategy
* Defining application entrance and exit criteria
* Being recognized as an SME on one or more application vendors/products
* Creating project deliverable templates and standards (e.g., including process standards)
* Creating complex conceptual designs, including application interfaces and interactions
* Planning and managing program-wide application build, test, and deploy activities
* Identifying and monitoring inter-dependencies between various application implementation activities
* Planning and establishing post go-live activities (including ongoing support)
* Continuing to build your technical and functional core SAP skills

You must also be able to contribute to the creation of an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Qualifications

In addition, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

* Deep skills (2-3 years) working in SAP SD
* Tertiary degree is mandatory
* Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
* Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

We're looking for a people at Consultant and Manager level both technical and functional to join the team who won the 2008 'SAP Partner of the Year' award - could you be one of them?

Please find some specific information on the 3 areas within Core Banking we are looking to recruit Consultants and Managers below:

1. SAP ABAP Objects Designer

Role:

* Create technical design documentation for SAP Banking Services Custom Development Objects (RICEFWS - Report, Interface, Enhancement, Form, Workflow, Service) components
* Coordinate resolution and communication of design and delivery issues between onsite functional designers, SAP architects and offshore developers
* Complete development and Unit testing of complex ABAP build objects in ABAP Objects technology

Skills / experience:

* 4+ years ABAP, 1+ years ABAP Objects
* ABAP Proxy framework, ESOA
* strong communication skills, ability to work effectively over the phone with offshore dev teams
* ability to create complex technical solutions on the SAP Banking Services platform
* ability to own the technical design and development of a functional area (e.g. Account Origination)
* understanding of functional core banking concepts
* ability to communicate with technical and functional SAP architects and designers

2. SAP Functional Designer & Lead Designer

* Lead and facilitate the SAP Custom Development Objects Design workshops
* Assist in defining and reviewing the functional requirements for the application, specifically the gaps that will be filled through customizations.
* Design individual SAP Custom Development Objects components per inventory.
* Confirm the completeness and consistency of the design deliverables. Resolve any inconsistencies discovered.
* Inform the Functional team lead of any issues that may affect other areas of the project.
* Create Functional SAP Custom Development Object Designs.
* Provide functional guidance to the Development Objects technical designer for the work units.
* Participate in additional testing, including assembly test of Custom Development Objects Design work units and system test.

Lead Designer also has the following
Responsibilities:


* Manage a small team of functional designers (3-4 persons), create work plan, monitor progress and report risk & issues
* Coordinate transitions of the customization functional designs to the technical designers.
* Review team deliverables

3. SAP Loans Management/ Deposits Management Configurator

* Design of the packaged software configuration and customization to meet the business process design and application requirements.
* Configure the system to match the design.
* Component test the system configuration.
* Complete the Configuration Rationale and configuration design documentation.
* Participate in additional testing, including assembly test of SAP Custom Development Objects work units and system test.

Skills required:

* SAP Deposits Management configuration
* SAP Extension and service design (RICEFWS) for Banking Services

Qualifications

Further Skill Requirements (across all areas)

* Bachelors Degree (mandatory)
* Previous relevant experience working within a consulting environment using SAP Core Banking
* All candidates must be willing to be Sydney based, but offer full mobility (i.e. prepared to work away from home Monday to Friday as required)
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated career progression to date
