The Client:

Accenture continues its strategic partnership with a leading bank in Australia to deliver their four year Core Bank Modernisation program. This program will support the banks vision to be Australia's finest financial service organisation through excelling in customer service. A year into the program, the project team has accumulated an impressive pool of local and international talent reaching as far as Spain, Germany, China, USA, Switzerland, Holland, India and France. With a large scale on-shore and off-shore model, the project exemplifies Accenture's one global network core value which enables us to consistently deliver exceptional service to our clients.

The Role:

SAP ABAP Objects Designer

* Create technical design documentation for SAP Banking Services Custom Development Objects (RICEFWS - Report, Interface, Enhancement, Form, Workflow, Service) components
* Coordinate resolution and communication of design and delivery issues between onsite functional designers, SAP architects and offshore developers
* Complete development and Unit testing of complex ABAP build objects in ABAP Objects technology

Qualifications

Skills / Experience:

* 4+ years ABAP, 1+ years ABAP Objects
* ABAP Proxy framework, ESOA
* strong communication skills, ability to work effectively over the phone with offshore dev teams
* ability to create complex technical solutions on the SAP Banking Services platform
* understanding of functional core banking concepts
* ability to communicate with technical and functional SAP architects and designers

Further Skill Requirements

* IT qualification (bachelors degree not essential but highly regarded)
* Previous relevant experience using SAP Core Banking
* Desire to build career as a technical specialist
* All candidates must be willing to be Sydney based, but offer full mobility (i.e. prepared to work away from home Monday to Friday as required)
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Key responsibilities may include:

* Own all staffing related matters for analyst level resources within the resource pool ie. skills, availability, preferences, calendar, chargeability
* Responsible for resolving staffing matters related to a person (managing escalations and conflicts, chargeability, etc.)
* Point of contact for all supply and availability related processes for analysts within the resource pool
* Make candidate recommendations to fulfill analyst level open demand assigned to the area
* Abide by scheduling guidelines and project guidelines
* Conduct searches for candidates, confirm candidate availability, skills, performance, etc
* Screen resumes to ensure true qualification; do follow up on candidate as necessary to ensure clear understanding of skills and experience
* Provide analyst level availability information for input into the weekly availability report
* Provide information for input into the chargeability forecast/IFS tool
* Keep track of all employees on the project; ensure roll off dates are accurate in myScheduling; alert Team Leads to pending roll offs and manage any related issues
* Single point of contact for GCP policy queries and working together with GCP Hr India to ensure the policy information is in alignment.
* Provide on boarding / orientation for all GCP joiners.
* Administration of all the transfers in/out of country, re-staffing and relocations.

Qualifications

Ideally, you will hold Bachelor degree and have gained more than 1/2 years experience in a relevant HR role. You will be able to contribute to the creation of an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Interpersonally, you are results orientated and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
