Whilst all RMS tax process work is completed within a shared services group remotely, the Tax Advisory Specialist is responsible for the oversight of all internal controls and delivery KPIs met.<br/><br/>The job involves providing services for the individual assignee, the project management, the Accenture organisation, CFM and HR.<br/><br/>An RMS Tax Advisory Specialist will have:<br/><br/>* a specific advisory responsibility within the team structure to cover all taxes; and<br/>* a specific allocation of a region<br/>* responsibilities within the Global Tax Center of Excellence<br/><br/>An RMS Tax Advisory Specialist will have supervisory responsibility for other RMS Analysts within local country teams who are responsible for day to day tax matters in the region or who participate in the Global Tax Center of Excellence.<br/><br/>Key Responsibilities<br/><br/>* Provide detailed tax advice in relation to country specific tax legislation to minimize tax and project costs and meet compliance requirements for all cross border assignees<br/>* Conduct one to one tax briefings for all cross border Senior Executives in relation to their personal tax situation<br/>* Provide detailed tax advice in relation to the taxation of equity, to enable projects to plan assignment lengths and dates to minimize equity tax costs<br/>* Document and maintain country tax positions for the region and review local tax legislative changes to determine appropriate policy changes to Accenture cross border policies<br/>* Design and implement process changes as a direct result of changes to tax legislation and the interaction with Accenture cross border policies<br/>* Delivery of tax saving opportunities based on local country tax legislation for all cross border assignments<br/>* Advice regarding Tax Equalisation to both assignees and projects<br/>* Coordination of the shared services team performing all tax processes to ensure compliance and timely completion of all processes<br/>* Internal Controls<br/>* Supervisory and Training of both within country tax team and shared service team<br/>* Build and maintain relationships with external tax provider for all individual tax compliance work within the region<br/>* Partner with projects to provide proactive tax advice in relation to the use of various cross border policies to minimize tax costs, whilst working with the client service team to ensure the correct interaction with immigration legislation<br/>* Provide tax advice in relation to permanent transfers into the region, specifically to maximize individuals relocation allowances in line with legislation<br/><br/>Relationships<br/><br/>* Reports to:                                    Asia Tax Lead<br/>* Internal Relationships:       RMS Country Leads regionally, Project managers and SEs, HR, Recruiting, Finance, Legal, Global Equity Services<br/>* External Relationships:     Tax Service Provider, Tax Authorities, Legal Service Provider<br/>* Supervising:                      RMS Country Tax Analysts within the region<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>Qualifications<br/><br/>Education: University degree or equivalent higher education qualification<br/><br/>Work Experience:<br/><br/>* 3+ years with a Big 4 expatriate accounting firm required<br/>* Tax Advisory role with cross border multinational client portfolio<br/>* Supervisory experience preferable<br/><br/>Knowledge and Skill Requirements<br/><br/>* A deep technical knowledge of Singaporean and/or Australian taxation<br/>* A well developed knowledge of cross border taxation for the Asia Pacific Region<br/>* Highly motivated, with ability to manage projects autonomously<br/>* Ability to work with a remote team<br/>* Capable of working independently with limited supervision<br/>* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<br/>*<br/>Good organizational skills<br/><br/>* Ability to work in ambiguous situations<br/><br/>Job<br/>Tax<br/><br/>Primary Location<br/>Australia-Sydney<br/><br/>Organisation<br/>Internal Operations (Enterprise)<br/><br/>Schedule<br/>Full-time]]></description>
