Qualifications

Education:

* A minimum four year undergraduate degree is required (computer science, mathematics, humanities etc). Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin.

Consulting experience:

* Well-developed consulting skills including the ability to clearly articulate high level solutions to clients in different forums.
* 5+ years in the IT industry, with minimum 3+ years experience as a consultant or working in a consulting role. (Consultant grade)
* 9+ years in the IT industry, with minimum 6+ years experience as a consultant or working in a consulting role. (Manager grade)
* Excellent oral and written presentation skills (client/expert forum presentations)
* Ability to manipulate abstract concepts and frameworks
* Excellent client service and relationship building skills at the senior IT executive level.

Technical/Domain Criteria:

Enterprise Architecture.

Experience as an architect developing enterprise and/or application architectures. Experience should include:

* Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks (such as Zachman, TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF/TEAF, GERAM)
* Commercial experience in 3 of the following IT architecture styles: Client/Server, Batch, Data Warehousing, ERP/SCM/CRM, SOA/Integration, Mobile, Portal and Infrastructure. For each of the three, must have >6 months commercial experience as a technical architect.
* Knowledge of Component Based and Service Oriented Architectures
* Understanding of architectural principles including performance, scalability, security, availability and flexibility and how to design for them.
* Understanding of technical service frameworks with services including transaction management, state management, logging...
* Understanding of integration architectures (EAI, ELT, ESB), structured and unstructured data architectures, Workflow technologies.

Technology acumen.

Architectural knowledge of typical architectures found in large corporate clients, including:

Key Requirements include:

Client Service Delivery

* Accountability for all aspects of successful delivery to maximize outcomes and value to clients and profitability to Accenture including: resourcing and balancing skills and capabilities consistent with delivery goals and economics, management of our people, extending opportunities within the client, identifying new sales opportunities, and supporting sales activities.

Innovation & Capability Development

* Accountability for working with our global transmission and distribution consulting practice in the development and commercialization of assets and offerings as well as growing the capabilities of our people across functional, technical and industry domains.

Operations

* Accountability for all aspects of successful entity/segment operations including: sourcing and supplying capability consistent with demand and economics, management of the personnel in the entity, supporting client opportunities and sales, and managing all strategic and day-to-day operations of the entity, segment or function. Accountability for the strategic planning and day to day operations of Accenture's internal service delivery model.

Management

* You will be able to contribute to the creation of an environment that facilitates high performance and motivates individuals to work collaboratively as a team and work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

Qualifications

* To be considered for this opportunity you must have experience with power systems, management of grid data and an understanding of utilities process and systems
* It is preferred that you have a PhD or Masters degree in Engineering.

Job Description

Key responsibilities may include:

* Shaping and leading programs that translate process application and/or integration shortfalls into transformation programs/projects
* Articulating application and integration strategy and thought leadership for business solutions
* Envisioning new and innovative approaches and predicting probable business outcomes
* Establishing total cost of ownership metrics for actual impacts of application implementation
* Influencing client direction based on application design and architecture
* Defining solution architecture
* Shaping and leading large-scale application design and architecture activities
* Establishing acceptance of designs with client executives
* Translating and conveying impact of process and system changes to bottom line
* Shaping and leading large scale application build, test, and deploy activities
* Assessing and managing risk and issues throughout all aspects of the application implementation
* Cultivating client relationships and driving revenue acquisition
* Driving recruiting activities for geography
* Counseling junior team members
* Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable

Qualifications

* Experienced in asset management functions (asset planning, asset build and commissioning and asset operation & maintenance)
* Experienced in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software
* Consulting or SI experiences in related fields
* 8 - 10 years Utility industry experiences
* Major in power system automation, electrical engineering is definitely a plus
* Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
* Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
* Desire to work in an information systems environment
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
* Excellent leadership and management skills
