Description

Day to day activity for Query Handling Team. Processing specific transactions and reports when needed.

Ø Responsible for completion of stand-alone tasks or high-volume transactions within detailed instructions and predefined procedures, especially:

· Issue invoices and credit notes, perform knock off, process AR reports and update trackers, deals with queries raised internally or with client and third parties, process reports

· Process all sales returns (STN, PSA/GSA and BSP) within required time scale - maintain up to date client account

· Get approval for making manual booking and adjustments

· Writing-off of bad debts in line with Client's instructions

· Process refunds

· Identify, log, and return any non-compliant doc's

· Ensure that reconciliation of bank accounts/ receivables done within defined timelines/ frequencies, etc.

· Selects the most appropriate procedures from a given set of solutions/procedures

· Able to recognize and act on non-standard situations, and adapt work to business goals

Ø Communicating with customer and banks concerning the processed items

Ø Escalates issues and seeks advice when faced with non-standard issues/problems

Ø Performs regular standard tasks but with the opportunity to vary work sequencing

Ø Solves problems largely by precedent with referral to detailed instructions/procedures

Ø Cooperation on additional critical tasks under the direction of supervisor
Carry out other duties as stipulated by supervisor.

Qualifications

· Bachelors degree, in accounting finance or related field are plus (or secondary bookkeeping background with relevant work experience);

· Previous accounting experience or experience with accounting systems are a plus

· English and Italian needs to reach the fluency level.

· Intermediate Excel and Word skills is essential

· Good team player

· Responsibility and accuracy

· Must be able to pay attention to detail and follow control procedures

· Flexibility, within defined parameters

· Co-operates with and supports team members as required

· Shares knowledge and experience with other members of team

· Able to acquire new skills in appropriate time scales

· Basic working knowledge of one functional accounting area
Sufficient familiarity with/exposure to a number of straightforward processes and standardized work routines to execute them
